Prepares participants for entry-level roles in local manufacturing, repair, and social enterprise sectors. It reduces employment barriers by offering accessible, hands-on training for individuals with limited credentials, employment gaps, or learning barriers. Participants gain industry-relevant skills through mentorship, adaptive instruction, and team-based production work while contributing to local repair, production, and circular textile practices.

Retail & Retail Warehousing

Prepares participants for high-demand retail and logistics roles essential to local economies. It reduces employment barriers through supported entry into work for individuals with limited experience or disrupted employment histories. The program emphasizes inclusive, safe workplace practices, professionalism, teamwork, and health and safety. Participants support essential retail operations and supply chains while
receiving financial support that improves short-term income stability and long-term employibility.

Timelines

July 1/26 Recruitment begins and continues until all 6 positions are filled. Each 20 week session consists of 2 five-hour days per week
