Donating to S.H.A.R.E Thrift Store
Donations big and small are pivotal to operating our community-supporting programs. To ensure your donation creates the most positive impact possible, we encourage everyone to read and follow our donation guidelines and FAQ.
It is incredibly important to donate during our donation hours only.
We do not have staff or volunteers outside of these hours to manage the donations, especially furniture items. Because of this, your donation may become damaged by weather or vandalized. After-hour drop-offs often end up in the landfill, something that is a cost to us.
TL;DR: Donations dropped off outside of Wednesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm cost us money to dispose of - the opposite intention of your donation.

Regularly Accepted Items:
- Adult clothing and footwear
- Kitchen goods
- Small appliances
- Outdoor use items
- Vintage items
- Couches (pick-up only)
- Dressers (pick-up only)
Highly Requested Items:
- Apartment-size furniture
- New socks and underwear
- Warm winter accessories
Commonly Donated Items We CANNOT accept:
- Used mattresses and box springs, no exceptions. Only new mattresses in original packaging are accepted
- Any used safety gear such as helmets and children's car seats
- Food items. While generous and necessary for all, we're the wrong place! Please direct food donations to the Kelowna Food Bank or a nearby community fridge
