SHARE is fortunate to have an incredible team of volunteers, and the programming and services we offer to the community would not be possible without their hard work and consistent support.

Current Volunteer Opportunties

We are actively recruiting for the following volunteer positions. If you are interested in any of them, please email Heather at sharesocietyheather@gmail.com citing the name of the volunteer position you're interested in as the subject area of the email. 

Clothing Department

  • Sorting Clothing: Assist with sorting donated clothing by types, seasons, and quality.

  • Hanging: Hang clothes in Warehouse in categories in preparation of going into store.

  • Tagging: Help tag clothing items according to store guidelines (as trained)

  • Sorting accessories like purses, socks, belts, scarves, and getting them ready to put into store.

  • Restocking: Replenish racks and displays with newly processed clothing.

  • Team Support: Work cooperatively with staff and other volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Flexible Schedule: We are open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 430.

What makes this role unique is unlike traditional retail, not two days (or racks) are the same.

Store Maintenance Assistant

  • Perform light cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces).

  • Sanitize high-touch areas such as counters, carts, light switches, and door handles.

  • Empty trash and recycling bins.

  • Help maintain a clean lunchroom

  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to store management.

Halloween in September in our RE:UP Studio

​

RE:UP Studio is getting ready for some fun Halloween projects throughout September, and we're looking for creative, crafty volunteers to come help us bring them to life.

​

Whether you love sewing, crafting, decorating, upcycling or just want to lend a hand, we'd love to have you join us.
