Kelowna & District S.H.A.R.E. Society has been a charity since 1977 and has worked to ameliorate the effects of poverty in our community for over 45 years.

In addition to operating a thrift store that offers basic items at low prices, it provides goods at no cost to those falling under the LICO scale.
Its in-house programs strive to address UN Sustainable Development Goals #4 and #8, related to ‘increasing the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills for employment and decent jobs’, as well as to provide opportunities for ‘adults with challenges and youth with diverse abilities to achieve full and productive employment’. In keeping with Goal # 10, S.H.A.R.E. strives to ‘empower and promote social and economic inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.’
